Beyt Midrash - A Place to Learn

Religious School

The Open Hebrew School at SJCC Bnai Aaron offers your child a warm and nurturing educational environment with a down-to-earth community atmosphere.  Our primary goal is to foster a desire for life-long Jewish learning.  We strive to instill in our students and their families pride in being Jewish, a love of God and Israel, and a commitment to Conservative Judaism and the Jewish community at large.

Beginning in the fall of 2008, our Religious School will be open to all families, regardless of Jewish background or synagogue affiliation. All children who are being raised Jewish are welcome to have a Jewish education at our "Open Hebrew School".

We invite you to learn more about the curriculum and objectives on our Religious School page.

Adult Education

The synagogue offers a variety of courses ranging from Jewish living to text based courses based on Tanach and Talmud.  There are also several learning opportunities for parents with their children.  Visit our Adult Education page and Course Listings to learn more.

Play & Learn Preschool

Play and Learn, directed by Essie Cutler, is a pre-school program for children ages six months through kindergarten, that is known for its warm and nurturing environment.  Our classes are run by certified professional teachers and feature excellent teacher to student ratios.  Each week the children learn about themselves and the world around through developmentally targeted activities.  We end each week with our musical Shabbat program.  Our children are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Munchkins & Mishpacha Shabbat Service (M&M's) that is offered at SJCC-Bnai Aaron each Shabbat morning for children under the age of 6.  See our Play & Learn page for more detailed information.
