Friday Night Services

At SJCCBA we offer a variety of service formats on Friday nights.  We are proud to offer Carlebach Kabbalat Shabbat services twice per month.  These ruach filled services feature fun uplifting melodies.  While the service is all in Hebrew, we offer user-friendly "Friday Night Live" siddurim that display Hebrew, transliteration and translation in a unique colinear format.  You can listen to the Carlebach melodies that we use, here.

On other Friday nights we offer a traditional Kabbalat Shabbat service that combines Hebrew and English, following the service in the prayer book Sim Shalom.  You can listen to our traditional melodies, here.

We always welcome guests at our services.  Don't know which service to try....why not try them both?

Reservations and pre-payment are required to attend dinner.  Please call or make reservations via email.
